Is there an intended way to workshop questions before publishing? [duplicate]

I have found myself violating unwritten rules a few times with a question, and bad question reception has negative consequences for your account.

This is not an attack on the site, I know that no amount of specificity in the rules of a place will prevent informal conventions from generating, I'm just saying that, for me, this has been the largest obstacle to participating in the site because I'm not very good at detecting unwritten customs.

So I wanted to ask, is there a place where I can post a draft of the question and be told if it's ok to publish or if it would receive a negative response?

I read this question which proposed something similar, but it seems it hasn't been considered yet, so I'm hoping there's an unofficial one that serves a similar purpose.
