On February 3, 2025 there were 24,248,034 questions on SO
On March 3, 2025 there were 24,254,223 questions on SO
On April 3, 2025 there were 24,241,364 questions on SO
On April 21, 2025 there were 24,236,084 questions on SO
It seems that between March 3 and April 21 the number of questions sunk by 18139. What are the reasons for this? With new questions still asked I would expected an increasing, not decreasing number. Roomba should work constantly, it would not explain why the total number of questions seemed to peak around March 3.
Why is the number of total questions slightly shrinking currently?
EDIT: @ThomA's most recent SEDE query produces this graph...clearly things have at the very least leveled off, the data does show the last two months have been losses.
