I was typing a question today and as I was building it, I finally made up my mind about what I exactly wanted to ask for.
I knew the answer to that question of mine, so I went ahead, posted the question, and then added an answer (and got downvoted :) :))
I started to wonder, then, why there are no "community questions" - simple questions that could have a (community or not) answer, and the prerequisite to make a question "community" would be to have answered it oneself.
Why "community questions"? Because a simple question such as "how to add two strings" will be downvoted & closed for "lack of research", while the intent would be to immediately provide an answer as well.
Now that I think about it, this may actually be quite similar to the failed SO "documentation" project I saw a few years ago (?)
