Currently, as part of a Commenting experiment, users who click that they have a follow-up question are sent to discussions.
This is generally wrong. Most of the time follow-up questions that that button results in putting in discussions are one of the following:
- Users trying to draw more attention to their question
- Users with a new question that belongs in Q&A
- Users asking for a clarification of an answer (belongs in comments)
I have been flagging a lot of these non-discussions, and honestly its just annoying for everyone involved (misled user, curators, mods). Could this stop or at least only send users to discussions if they actually click something like "I want to discuss this" or similar?
